I totally understand- I was stung by a bee yesterday and ended up in the hospital trying not to keel over from the allergic reaction (my tongue swelled up.) I'm home now and pumped full of awful drugs, so I totally understand.

let's talk about nicer things though- like yarn!!! Your yarn is pretty and the knitpicks needles have been tempting me- I have a denise set which I really like, but have not tried knitpicks yet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13741811.post-39769720211789475162007-10-23T10:32:00.000+01:002007-10-23T10:32:00.000+01:00Sorry to hear you are feeling unwell hun, and I'm ...Sorry to hear you are feeling unwell hun, and I'm not surprised you are fed up. I do hope the Homeopathic clinic can help.

Isn't the Evolution just gorgeous?! And I think cracking open some STR is always a good plan. :)Piglottiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05961495279414546848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13741811.post-54385427090001222412007-10-22T23:49:00.000+01:002007-10-22T23:49:00.000+01:00So glad you attended the knitting show! Too bad yarn therapy doesn't help with allergies.... :D Hope you're on the mend. *hugs*

Oh la la, that Pigeon Roof Studios handspun is pretty. Will you be making your bed socks out of the Hyacinth or Dovecote or both? I've heard of formaldehyde in plastics, but never knew they put in clothing too. The portable air purifier sounds good though, and hopfully the Bristol Homeopathic Hospitol will be able to give you some natural remedies, and get you away from the other steroid meds. Your trip to Alexandra Palace sounded like a super day, your purchases and christmas presents look fab, I like the new Let's Knit mag too, have you seen the DVD yet? it's good but a bit comical, and at least the mag hasn't got a sudouko puzzle like in Simply Knitting, What's that got to do with knitting I don't know, it's not like you can knit at the same time is it? Your yarn from Pigeon Roof Studios looks lush and will make gorgeous socks. and if I was a doctor I would definitely subscribe STR with a large mug of hot tea, kept warm with your super cozie of course:) Hope you start to feel better really soon xxCurly Cablehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04835368354777197899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13741811.post-71072150071811967802007-10-18T20:13:00.000+01:002007-10-18T20:13:00.000+01:00Oh dear! My stepmom is sensitive to formaldehyde and has to use special soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, since apparently formaldehyde hides under various names and is MANY unexpected places. :( The personal air purifier is a great idea - I might have to try one for work, too.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12959009113795804133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13741811.post-12809671395378006062007-10-18T20:03:00.000+01:002007-10-18T20:03:00.000+01:00Your poor thing Roxy, I hope you feel better soon....Your poor thing Roxy, I hope you feel better soon. It must be so tiring with all the allergies. My Mum ended up with asthma from using Formaldehyde at work for years, I think it was that anyway. I read on another blog, can't remember which, that you had worn your Noro coat! Lovely yarns you bought too.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13730130796826375503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13741811.post-67607282911706918762007-10-18T18:34:00.000+01:002007-10-18T18:34:00.000+01:00They use formaldehyde in polyester?
